Gongs and bowls produce sounds and vibrations that affect the entire body, causing all the water molecules in the body to vibrate. This allows the body to relax, enter a deep state of relaxation, release all tension and blockages, improve the flow of bodily fluids, and synchronize the brain hemispheres. Therefore, it is said that the sounds emitted by gongs and bowls work on all levels of existence: physical, mental, and spiritual. These sounds reflect the natural frequencies of nature, of which we are a part, therefore, when they resonate with the human body, they activate its self-healing powers and stimulate the immune system. They thus have healing and cleansing properties.
The session involves passively listening in a comfortable lying position on mats or sitting.
Contraindications for participation include pacemakers, pregnancy, and epilepsy.
